A Poetry Collection

When I was 17, while sleeping and lost in a dream, I found myself on an island. Small in size, one could walk from one end to the other in less than an hour. On the west, a tall & lush forest, on the east, an old medieval tower overlooked a crumbling castle, towards the south just beyond an amber beach. In the center,  a perfectly trimmed garden, with a grand fountain left in the center for visitors to admire.

It was a place that could not exist in real life; however, walking through its forests and beaches I felt tranquil and at peace and left in me a lasting memory. So, after waking up, I immediately took pencil to paper and drew what I had seen, even until this day the castle just off the beach is the one picture that always comes to mind. Ever since, this island seen in a dream has captured the idea of inner peace and poetry which inspired me to write the collection of 41 poems I am sharing with you today.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.
