Azul Beach

When, explicitly in these warm Caribbean nights

Near our candle lighted table

Between our body’s and the heat cindering within our lusting eyes

Did we realize we are living our fate and fable?

Remember all those years?

With your family, and their chilling cold

Remember all those stresses? All those fears?

And now in these Azul beaches, how those worries are now forever so old?

Like thousands of years ago, no?

As ancient as these very sandy beaches

Given only to us as gift by God

We shall not disregard his faith and all that he and nature teaches

As the sea breeze tempts our skin as much as we tease each other

Life is simple in these Azul beaches

The sun, the moon and the stars nourish our bodies with light spirit fodder

For in this land they are now our adoptive teacher, father and mother

Remember? We made love in the warm tempting waters?

Remember as we held in embrace and you gazed into my eyes?

And admitted that our life together was truly all that mattered?

And finally felt free from a world full of lies?

Oh Preciosa, even the sands of time seem to mix with our pure-white shore

Calming their travels. Diluting their celestial happenstance and consequence.

As if the ocean itself wished we to take pleasure from it more

There is no cause to be afraid or worry. As together we’ll forever be,

As God knows it is you I adore

I know a sanctuary on earth since a child you have craved

It has always been your dream

All your life, someone with whom you can share,

Someone unable to betray or in such direction break or lean

Your trust and love,

Someone who understands what you say and what you mean

Someone who’ll be your steward, knight and liege

Yes, that is what you will find, both in me and in our Azul beach
